I had the honor of meeting Pastor Timothee from Burkina Faso at the 2022 Global OCC Conference, where he shared a desperate need that weighed heavy on my heart: the need for clean water in his country. His words struck me deeply, and I felt a powerful call to take action.
Within just a month, God led me to raise the funds needed to build our very first well in Simba, Burkina Faso. All glory to God for this miraculous provision!
Soon after, a group of passionate individuals came together to form Building Communities Near and Far (BCNAF.org), a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to spreading God's love and meeting the physical needs of those in desperate circumstances. Since then, we’ve been blessed to build 4 well towers that are providing clean, life-saving water to thousands of children, families, and even animals in Burkina Faso.
Through the generous contributions and grants we’ve received, we've been able to do so much more—helping to provide food, support small businesses, and even offer a vehicle to those in need. But there is still so much more to be done.
I humbly ask for your help. As we continue this mission to serve the people of Burkina Faso and beyond, your support can make a tangible difference. Our Inspiration
In Matthew 25:40-45, Jesus reminds us of the profound truth that when we serve the least of these—those who are most vulnerable—we are serving Him.
"Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
These words have inspired us deeply at Building Communities Near and Far, and it’s through this call to action that we’ve embarked on a journey to make a difference in the lives of those in desperate need..but we need your help!
Supporting Operation Christmas Child
with JOY!
This past year, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible opportunities God has provided through WOW Supplies! We had the privilege of donating supplies that helped fill over 4,000 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes, bringing the Gospel message to children in need around the world.
Some of the items WOW Supplies contributed included:
- Activity and Coloring Book Kits
- School Pencil Packs filled with essential school supplies
- Sewing Kits, and so much more.
Each of these items plays a crucial role in not only meeting the physical needs of children but also opening doors to share the love and hope of Christ. We are honored to support the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Ministry, helping to bring joy and the message of Jesus to children in areas where hope is desperately needed.
As a Christ-centered business, we are committed to using our resources to further God's Kingdom. It is our sincere belief that every gift, every donation, and every supply has the power to make a lasting impact on the lives of these children, both in the present and for eternity.
